4:48 Pretty certain this is mistaking the effect of reinforcement with fibres. The main reason fibres are used is Crack control, Increase of permeability and Impact durability, I don't think you'll get very far increasing a beam's span if you add some fibres...

You should use Twisted Steel Micro Rebar (TSMR) instead of fibre/fiber. TSMR is a discontinuous reinforcement like fibre however it maintains it's tensile capacity just like rebar does. It has been used in hundreds of project where it has completely replace rebar in structural concrete... including fully suspend concrete. PVA is not poly vinyl alcohol BUT is INFACT "poly vinyl ACETATE" But Carbon Fibre Reinforcement is the Future as opposed to Steel rio Bar

That is not correct. The fiber IS, IN FACT, polyvinyl alcohol. Polyvinyl acetate is just a starting ingredient in the production of polyvinyl alcohol. The acetate is hydrolyzed in an alcohol solution, normally under alkaline conditions to form polyvinyl alcohol. That is the chemical makeup of PVA fiber. The degree of water solubility is controlled by the degree to which it is hydrolyzed.
