Do you know if fiberglass is an acceptable material to use for making a custom storage tank for alcohol? I would like to build a 5-gallon fermenter for making beer.

I'd be looking at Rotomolded plastic tanks. If the resin they use won't change the flavor. They usually come in PPL. HDPE. AND XLPE . Probably more cost effective than the FRP Tanks. It used to be difficult to get a food grade thermo set FDA compliant resin. Might be different now..
