I experienced a low side crash on my track bike that left a few cracks in the fiberglass race fairing. So I'm doing a tutorial on the process I used to repair the cracks and return the fairing it to its former glory.

Great video thank you. I am fixing my 600RR race fairings and this was VERY helpful.

Good video and a good end result, I've got to do a split on the back light cowl. But I will put a small drill hole on the end of the split to make sure it don't split any further. I've never used fibreglass before. So watching your video has helped.

I have a fairing on my old Moto Guzzi that doesn't fit quite close enough around my head light-allowing wind to blow in...after watching your DIY video I feel a repair project coming on! Thank you for posting !! 😉

Glad to see you got it back together already. I used the same filler with fibers mixed in after my last crash, and it has held up extremely well.

Lol, I wish. This is the video I finally finished from the repairs I did earlier this spring from last year's damage. And for what it's worth, that side held up well this year too.

What grit(s) of paper did you use before applying the fibreglass and filler, and what grit did you go up to before you did the primer? Thanks.
