Dear Fiber Spider, I have been crouching for 35 years and you are by far the best instructor I have ever watched! I hope you get many sponsors and continue to share your gift with others!

Love love love this stitch!! About 15 years or so ago, a lady with a crochet site called "Nexstitch", had turned this stitch into a shawl. I bought the pattern and made two, then seamed them together at the shoulders leaving an opening for the head, and made a poncho. It was beautiful.

Very interesting... You have a knack for teaching a difficult stitch and making it easy to understand. Been crocheting for awhile and I always learn something...Thanks!

Love this pattern !!!! Looks like wings ! I appreciate how fluid and loosely you crocheted bc it allows for more dimension in this case letting the light show through*.....

Oooh I love this stitch! Since moving to the high desert prairie of southern Colorado, I've wanted to make myself a poncho. I wanted to do it with a pattern that reflects the mountains. This stitch is PERFECT! I got a ton of Impeccable on sale that I'll be using :) Thanks SO much for another great tutorial, Spider! ♡

First, i want to say i love your channel! Thank you for going into so much detail in your videos. I wish this had been a little more detailed; when you were going back down to form the square you didn't say the number of stitches you skipped. For most people they can probably see how many you skip but I am visually impaired and can not see how many you skipped. Im sure I'm probably not the only one who has trouble seeing the stitches. I would really appreciate if next time you could say how many stitches you skip. Thank you so much for reading this and sharing your gift with us. Happy crocheting(sorry this was a little critical)!

Hello Fiber I was wondering If you could use this patter and make a poncho
@FiberSpider6 жыл бұрын
I don't see why not. One of the styles where it is two rectangles connected to each other in a sort of loop - do you know what I am talking about? Not sure how you would go about this stitch in the round, but if you can manipulate it as flat pieces you then join together- go for it! 😉☕🕷
@mariamasini72116 жыл бұрын
Fiber Spider yes think I understand what to do, I could make like 4 squares and them join them together Thanks for your reply too 💐
@TrippNBalz6 жыл бұрын
Maria Masini there is an old pattern for a poncho that is two rectangles of the same size joined in a bit of an odd way, but makes lovely poncho. I'm sure you could find it online for free. This would be so pretty for that!

Lynda Steinbrecher I will try to find it thank you

Fiber, does this stitch create a heavy project?
@FiberSpider6 жыл бұрын
I don't think it does. The solid squares are compensated by the way they are joined together, and I love the drape of the fabric. 😉☕🕷
