Fiber Spider is the absolute best tutor. I’m visually impaired. So I depend more on audio instructions than visual. Your instructions are the most thorough of all. Every stitch you make is spoken. ❤️❤️

I take the time this morning to let you know how much i like you as a teacher and as a person. You are patient and just a joy to follow along. You deserve all the praise and positives comments people write...and then some. I particularly like patterns that are inspired by nature. Thank you for being you. Respect. Helene

I too am nuts about pineapples. I've always wanted to try this and I am grateful to find you on the tube. I've made half and it turned out so lovely. Can't wait to finish the other half and send it off as a present for a good friend. Then I'll make one for me! Thank you for video tutorial. I'm going to try the lost souls project next.

Thank you so much. I have completed both halves and am getting ready to sew it together. This is by far the most complicated pattern I have ever crocheted! But with your help I was able to accomplish it. I will also need to block it I think since I used narrower yarn with a gold thread running through it. I think my granddaughter will love it. Thanks again!

First half done. By the time you got to the last row I was ready to throw it out of the window along with this video!!!! I was so tired of chaining 2, 3, 4, and of course, 5. Now I have to start all over again to make the second half.....I am a glutton for punishment ...yes. Going to look so pretty when I am finished though so that makes it worthwhile.

Dear Fiber Spider: I absolutely love your tutorials because you make them extremely easy to understand and you crochet at a pace with which it is easy to follow along. I tell my kids and grandkids that I have yet to meet a pattern I couldn't modify and I made no exception to this one. I prefer solid pineapples as opposed to the "webby" open work ones, so where one did the "web work" instead I crocheted three dcs together followed by a chain one. Now, it gets kind of tricky because in that first row of webbing, you ended with five ch-3 spaces and when you use the 3-dc-tog method, you're going to end up with six of them. So in order to correct for when you finish the pineapple and you do an sc in the last ch-3 space, I ended up with one 3-dc-together and to close the pineapple I left it there and simply closed the pineapple on the next row like you normally would. It turned out really nicely (I think) and because it is a little more solid, it is also a little warmer (we lived in Nebraska and it gets REALLY cold there). One more thing I'm doing is that I'm going to make a panel poncho out of this. I'm doing stipes of purple and teal with the purple being in the pattern in its original form and the with teal having the more solid pineapples. Again may I say that you do a really great job teaching the rest of us. I don't suppose you have a tutorial on how to make a Bavarian square do you? They somewhat confuse me. Anyway, I really appreciate the good job that you do. Sincerely, Ann Brown

Just completed my pineapple crochet shawl and just love it. Decided to make yet another when I had brain storm. Thinking about starting at row 28 and working backward so that Scarf would be one piece. What do you think?
@sweetbird0195 жыл бұрын
This scarf is beautiful. Thank you for the pattern. I have just started the first half. What is the length of one half of your scarf? If want to make the half longer then which rows should be repeated?
@tovaks5 жыл бұрын
sweetbird019 Rows 13-19 are the repeat rows for extra length. Keep repeating 13-19 until it’s not quite long enough. Then do the final rows 20-28 for the finishing.
