This was an excellent guide. Very informative and suggest a couple of ideas I hadn’t thought of when fibroscaning my patients. Also, confirms many aspects of the challenges i face and have sought different scanning methods to overcome said challenges. Confirms I have been heading in the right direction. My operator,yesterday,showed me a reading of 2.1,explaining it was high.My memory is not sure now

I know this is an old post but does anyone have any information if Fibroscan can be used or should be used with people who have a history or high billrubin or Gilebrts Sydrome which is mostly indirect elevations in billrubin and if that would be classified as hepatic congestion

does anyone know how fibroscan stiffness results can vary from 7 to 10 in the same person within a 2month period? do we see these types of variances on a consistent basis or is this considered abnormal or poor readings? 213 7.3 one week later 199 8.4 one month later 220 and 9.9
