A magnificent collection of Ficus. My favorite is the baby elephant Ficus. Your mistletoe Ficus will get berries on it. Mine is a quarter of the size you have and it developed berries over the late summer months. A nice little reward. Excellent video on a fantastic collection.

I had asked about the poinsettia too, sadly it died…I think Nigel said it got too cold one winter and the poinsettia was in a cold spot wherever he had it.

Nigel, you always say this is your first bonsai, I watched one of your first videos, in it you called a poinsettia your first bonsai. Do you still have the poinsettia?

Your ficus are a inspiration Nigel. You reference the Zombie Apocalypse in many of you videos, have considered a Penjing based around that theme?😁
@danbehrens16212 жыл бұрын
Good idea! I think us viewers should make a game of it. Every time he says “zombie apocalypse” we all do something. I don’t know what tho.

I love the channel! I find my self working on plants and watching and learning all the time. Do you know of anyone who would 3d print more of the Vietnam style pots? I contacted the company who originally made them for you but they blew me off. Thanks for everything!

What kind of led lamp is under the plant table. Looks like one I’d like to get for the same purpose in my plant room. Is it a 1000 watt?

Hi Nigel just got a ficus religiosa would like to send a picture, don’t know if I would cut it or let it grow the trunk is about the thickness of a pencil . I am new at this, watch most of you video I like how you explain things very informative. Please advise thanks in advance
@sallyjjdavis2 жыл бұрын
the tree at 4:16 - 9:02 could look better if you repotted it at a straighter angle when spring/summer comes, at the moment it looks as if its been knocked over (in my opinion)

Why is the too little leaf ficus so bulbous? Galls? Hopefully not, and it's just some weird looking healing process. Sorry, it looks odd to me enough to throw me off. Yah know?
