My teenage cousin is OBSESSED with getting into Stanford. It is as if her life will be over if she doesn't get in. It makes me really sad because, "no one cares" in real life. She's 15 and has no life because all she does is school. I was skateboarding, playing in bands, goofing around and still managed to get a degree and have a good life. If that's what she wants then good luck to her. Hopefully, her parent's remind her that it's not the 'be all and end all' though because not all dreams are realised.
