It saddens me to see the start of the demolition of fiddlers ferry . I had the same emotions when I was a small boy watching the same happened to a power station my dad and uncle worked at many years ago.

Fascinating video Paul. I wasn’t expecting all four to go at once but I suppose it makes good sense. Those close-ups were scarily close. Thanks for sharing buddy

Another top drawer video Frosty 👍👍 Was the close up drone coverage of the exploding towers the demo guys handiwork & why it's called Fiddlers Ferry?
@veryhighguy10 ай бұрын
Yes that was their footage. All I seen was a wall of fog. (Gutted) it was named after a near by pub called the ferry inn which stood on the site of an old ferry route across the Mersey.

@@veryhighguy Bugger, real shame for you. However it's a fantastic addendum to your great coverage 👍 Ahh thanks for the info. Always love hearing how places past & present got their names. Now I've got Gerry & the Pacemakers & Chris de Burgh playing in my head 😂👍

Yeah it was a mistake, it should of said the closure was announced in 2017. It was published by the time I realised but just left it
