Wow! Talk about a name from the past! Back in 1990 I was a beginning fiddler who didn't know how to read music and had no fiddle teachers in my town. I made some self-taught progress, but then got stuck. Then I stumbled upon her little blue book of tunes written in "fiddle tab", plus a cassette tape. What a breakthrough! I quickly learned to play every tune in the book and had a ball doing it! I'd never heard of fiddle tab before. Then I figured out how to write my own fiddle tab between the ledger lines of traditional sheet music, and my ability to learn took off like a rocket! Thanks, JayDean! 👍
