sorry for the delay in replying... If you do a google search for the "Violin 1st finger Chart". You will see that each line is a number, do you have note lines on your violin (like in my video) the 1st line is 1, the 2nd line is 2, the 3rd line is 3.... and so on. L1 is the space between the nut, 0 (no fingers) and line one L2 is the space between line 1 and line 2. H3 is the space between line 3 and 4 - So yes the first 3 notes are your 3rd Finger on position 3, on the D string, then move to your second finger on position 2 Hope this helps

It is all based on the 1st finger violin chart... (google it if you need to) L is for Low position, H is for High position. And 0 is for open string, or if you are more advanced, you can play the 0 as, a 4th finger position on the 'lower' string. (as in A0 = D4) hope this helps
