Bitcoin, unlike gold or silver, is infinitely scalable. If BTC were to go to $1 Billion, one BTC could be subdivided into 100 or more billion Satoshis so there would NEVER be a "shortage" of money to run the engines of the economy. Bitcoin is an infinitely deflationary asset which is a GOOD thing! Deflation helps holders of money. Deflation does NOT help central bankers. If there was one word that would describe the whole ethos of central banking, it is "INFLATE!"

I'd like to see the math on $1B BTC. If it absorbed 100% of the monetary value in the world that would only be around $42M. Unless they think $1B in 2038 will only be worth $42M in 2024.

I don't really understand how they get to $1B, but it doesn't need to absorb 100% of the money supply to get there. If everyone tomorrow refused to sell for nothing less than $1B and 1 person decided to buy, then that's what it'd be valued at.

Not just currency but also assets can be tokenized. That would make each Sat just 10usd which I see it go beyond 1billion per bitcoin in the near future. Just like gold, BTC has world wide valuation which $5quadrillion can be poured into bitcoin.

Also to note there is a bitcoin multiplier. Which after this halving will be roughly 100x for every dolllar of net inflow. Each halving that will multiply for the since it s limit asset. So you Don’t need dollar for dollar market cap

At that point BTC will fully replace the dollar and people will get their paychecks in BTC . dollars will be completely meaningless. But try drawing a line connecting the lows. Its still 75% CAGR. Just treat the highs as a distraction and hold on like grim death.
