Tatlo Road Farm in Crofton, B.C. is one of several market vegetable farms that have been using silage tarps as overwinter soil cover. Raelani Kesler (MSc) and farm owners Nick Neisingh and Niki Strutynski discuss the benefits and trade-offs of this on-farm climate adaptation practice, and explore the results of Raelani’s overwinter tarping field trials across three regions in B.C.
