This is the latest in the Hazard Recognition and Control series. I have also decided to try something different for the sake of brevity. I have included much of the review material in the description. As usual I welcome comments.

Fantastic video! As an American I am unfamiliar with regulations surrounding FLHA requirements in Canada. Where can I find the regulations that govern this topic?

Hi Mary, welcome to the channel! As to specific legislation, in Canada it differs from province to province. In addition federal employees and federally regulated organizations fall under another piece of legislation beyond that. So pointing to everything might take a lot of room. However, it is also entrenched in the legislation. Take for instance here in Alberta it says this, "An employer must assess a work site and identify existing and potential hazards before work begins at the work site or prior to the construction of a new work site". So in other words where at a worksite that will be permanent or temporary, the employer has to ensure all hazards have been identified, assessed and controlled before work begins. Most provinces have similar legislation. Does that help? Good question by the way. Cheers! --Kevin

In Alberta you can find it under OH&S Code, Part 2 Hazard Assessment and Control Methods.
