@nitro105 because of there 2 stroke design the engine can run both ways with no alteration

Lovely machine. The starting can be quite eccentric compared to other tractors. I would be interested to know the horsepower ?

Thats a Field Marshall Series 2 and the top speed is 6 M.P.H. When the Series 3 came out they wanted to do twice that speed so thye engine was reversed. The series 3 and 3A could do 12 M.P.H

Why does it seem to run backwards to other FM i have seen on youtube? He cranks it backwards so I know its not just the way the camer picks it up..

It will happily pull a 5 furrow plough but there's probably a good reason for them using a 2 furrow plough if only we knew what it was.
