Field Recording - Fighter Jets - Singapore NDP 2023

Today I tried my hand at field recording with two Rycote microphones recording in stereo. I was trying my best to capture the sounds of the Singapore Airforce as they provided the island with a wonderful display across the island. The display was part of the National Day Parade 2023 celebrations.
The microphones used are 2 Rycote CA-08 pencil condensers in a orft configuration recording into a Zoom F3. For wind protection I used Bumblebee Industries Windkillers, although the wind was very light during these audio recordings.
One thing I learnt is that carbon tripods do have a tendency to reverberate and introduce sound into the recordings. It is not something I've experienced before and I suspect it is just down to the loudness and frequency of the fighter jets in Singapore.

you can try coming to Hougang area. fighter jets taking off, landing are everyday affairs
