Have the 509 TAC with bronze slide, black frame - greatest out of the box pistol New for $850 at sportsman warehouse about a year ago 👌 Also have the FN509 MRD Compact in all black, running a Trijicon RMR TYPE 2 , currently my EDC

Need help getting the mag out back together. Had to take it apart because my brother dumped the mag into a pile of dirt. Got dirt all in the mag. Opened it, cleaned it bud can’t get it to latch back on the bottom correctly.

I came here looking for why I wasn't able to release my slide, wondering if there was something that I was missing. Turns out I was, I needed to slide the action back just a little before pressing the trigger and then let it slide the rest of the way off.
