Hi, I've only been coiling since the beginning of this year with a Garrett Ace 250 and just bought a Racer 2 after watching your videos. I'll be in wet pasture on Saturday, any hints on settings I should use?

well done mate , great review ! what i find strange is that the 6 pence only read 67 , and the button higher ?? for the rest it seems a solid machine , althought i stay with my xp deus lol. at what frequency the machine operates ? GL+HH grtzz john

I think there are the occasional quirks with certain targets for most machines . Not sure on the frequency mate I'll have to check and let you know . Good luck 😊

Wonder why price has went so high compared Racer 1?Is it better than the racer 1.as it already a great machine.Yes you can't save settings.but what else has it got that the Mk 1 does not.For £250 plus more it should be way better?

Treasure Hunting Pro it's got iron audio , tone break , notch filter and a few other things mate . Plus it's just a better build all round . I had the Racer 1 and did well with it .

Hi Stephen, Thanks for your for your review on the Racer 2 . I have an original Racer and I think it's great. In your opinion is the Racer2 that much better than the original to warrant me upgrading to one?

It depends mate . If you like feedback from your machine and like to have a good few options then the Racer 2 gives you so much more . Maybe not much in them in way of depth but I'll check that out 😊

my racer 2 chatters all the time, when wobbled from side to side it chatters, when you hit stubbles it chatters even with gain on 40.... have i got a dodgy one?

Certainly sounds like it mate . Check the obvious tho like your coil wire into box and try it without the coil cover . Maybe something trapped in there

very good video this will definitely help anyone new to the makro well done mate, you've got a weird way of pin pointing by obviously it works for you lol I just drag the coil back with the etrac lol GL and HH

if the MR2 was waterproof it would of beat my Garrett AT Pro easy. i love the Deep mode on the MR2. hopefully there will be a Makro Racer3 waterproof
