Nice! I wouldn't mind doing that, but only if I got to go into places the public wasn't allowed.

Wow, you brought back some cool memories. Back in "58 in response to the Sputnik scare, the Navy conducted a Science Fair prize. Sixty nine of us winners were flown to San Diego for a 1 week Science cruise. We were divided into 4 groups for a session of "war games". The first day our group boarded the USS Seadevil WWII sub. I remember sitting on a torpedo in the forward torpedo room when we heard a loud "clack". When we asked what it was the sailor in there with us announced "we are all dead"! It was a hand grenade thrown from a destroyer escort to simulate an ash can. The next day I got to throw a live grenade off of the fantail of the USS Lewis Destroyer escort. Oh yes it was noisy in the engine compartment when topside. You couldn't even hear any one screaming in there ! Thanks for the new tour.

You should take a look at the other one on the Massachusetts. Would have had a field day in there. Funny thing is the one with the 3 jaw on it in that video looks like it was recently used. The ways are shiny with what looks like oil
