Field Trip to ELIXIR ZOO | 2022

Zoo visits enable children to learn about animals effectively, foster cognitive development and promote empathy and compassion. Observing and discussing animals create an interest in conservation and the realization that animals too have feelings and emotions.
In connection to the curriculum theme 'LIFE', the young MSBians of pre-primary section visited Elixer Zoo on 27th Sept ’2022.
It was a wonderful experience for children to see the clean and beautiful environment with colourful and healthy animals and birds. Flamingoes, ducks, macaws, pigeons, parrots and peacocks were a treat to watch.
The enclosures of the wild animals- lions and lionesses, deers, reindeers and zebras were really fascinating.
Children relaxed in a cool shady area and had snacks.
The zoo visit was indeed a fun day with a lot of learning and joy for our preprimary students.
