This iconic, permanent exhibit has been a favorite of museum visitors of all ages since it was opened in 1976. Now Birds of New York enters a new era, with upgraded lighting, realistic backgrounds, and taxidermy bird mounts that have been cleaned or replaced. See how the entire hall has been completely re-interpreted with new maps, photos, and updated information about bird ecology and evolution and conservation.
