This makes me want to get rid of my Jeep Recon and get a Ford Sportsmobile... Great workmanship and craftsmanship!

I won't be purchasing an RV for a while yet, but I'm decided on a class b. I was leaning toward a Roadtrek CS, but Sportsmobile seems like an excellent alternative, given the ability to customize all aspects of the build. Based on the price sheet on their website, it appears to be somewhat less expensive than the Roadtrek as well. Nice tour and great info!

These are great RV's worth checking out - but keep in mind there is over a 1 year wait time for one right now so make sure you give yourself lots of lead time.

How Cool is this... I thought Xzibit was gonna pop out of the back of the VW bus 🚐 and do a episode of Pimp My Ride. Now I know the none of those builds are cheap. I'm sure you could buy a camper or feed a small village for a year and promise steak once a week. Much Peace !!!
@Weretherussos8 жыл бұрын
+Marmac RV Adventures they aren't much more than many of the Sprinter based Class Bs out there unless you go really crazy with the options - and even then you're talking $150k or so for a custom RV that will go anywhere.

Amazing video!! Great job Russo’s! Do you know much does it cost to build Mercedes Sprinter from scratch such as the Black Mercedes In Black where John stood intro the last mins?? I would like to know if you do know! Do you know where are they manufacturing Russo? I would like to own one Mercedes Custom build like this one day!! Please any advice?? Any best custom RV build in Cali from northern or Southern?? Thanks Russo

Cotton batten absorbs water. Once moisture is behind the panels, you will not be able to get them out.

I had a 1967 vw sportsmobile it was amazing, we loved it. so are you considering one joe?, this has as much room as the lance, maybe more and minimizes your foot print to the max, which i am thinking is the whole reason for down sizing . thanks for another fantastic video, i learned a lot
@Weretherussos8 жыл бұрын
They are definitely a consideration but the more capable rigs are a bit beyond our budget...plus they currently have over a 1yr wait to get one built. We've been looking at used units too but they really hold their value well.

That place is a dream. It's seems you would only be limited by your own imagination. I would love to see what they could do with my tiny little GMC AWD Safari van. Then again, it looks like you need disposable cash to have any real fun in that place :-(
@Weretherussos8 жыл бұрын
I think it comes down to how far you want to go with the build (not sure they work on GMC's) but they had some basic 2wd vans there with a really nice interior living area all the way up to those monster Econoline's that can go anywhere.
@realtor4118 жыл бұрын
Interesting that SMB is now making their own "Econoline" type bodies

We thought so too and there seems to be a lot of demand for them.

Really cool stuff. Funny, their shop doesn't look busy. They have a long wait time on a build.

We came on Veteran's day and they give all of their Vets the day off, so it wasn't nearly as busy as it would have been.

Another company I was unaware of and another company unafraid of cameras showing their factory. I guess they aren't doing anything shoddy. Did Kait come willingly or were you forced to drag her away from there?

while your intention are good, and the results of your company are noticeable, there were no 'hippies' in 1961,from 1968 forward, yes the term ' hippies' was relevant, check out your history, please.
