Eh, I'd rather take a swing on an OG, C, WR, or FS than take a guaranteed great punter. And there are no guarantees at any position. You don't need to draft someone in the 4th round to get rid of Gill, by the way.

Same here! But i'll say the same thing i said last year at this time of the year .. and when I said it last year, people literally attacked me: Rebuilding teams often do not get off to a fast start. Last year i KNEW they would suck the first half of the year. A year removed from 3-14, they needed time to gel. This year there is a better chance they'll be ok, but there are a lot of new parts, and we know training camp is not what it used to be, and often starters dont play much in preseason. We gotta stop asking for people's jobs after things look iffy after a game or two

I remember Field Yates being on with waddle and silvy the day after Poles was hired. He said he was a home run hire and would absolutely turn the Bears around. I took it with a grain of salt because they worked together in KC. Now there’s a long way to go, like we actually have to play the games now, but Mr. Yates has been correct thus far

Truth having a ray guy was real, teams would give up, lose confidence and get dejected.
