I think for positional rankings you need to have an S Tier. I'm a Lions fan but Christian McCaffery is simply in a tier of his own in fantasy. No disrespect to Breece Hall, Bijan Robinson, or Saquon Barkley who I'd argue are all in Tier 1, but CMC is in a league of his own in fantasy.

Breece Hall’s situation last year was just as bad as Bijan’s and yet Breece finished as RB #2. 2!! What about rock bottom for Breece?! What about the massive upgrade from trash to Aaron Rodgers? Based on your “Bijan is slightly better “ take Beece should have finished 9th or lower. Not 2. Oh and Breece is faster than Bijan. But keep talking about how Bijan’s better based on nothing. Great analysis.

The fact that Etienne finished RB3 last year and was put in Tier 3 and no discussion was had surrounding that is dumbfounding. To say that Pacheco or even Gibbs or Kyren who are in crowded backfields makes me second guess Yates rankings and I’m a Yates Homer. Weird.

Gibbs will out produce 5 of the RB’s listed above him and I expect him to overtake CMC by the end of the year. He will have a lot more receiving yards for him this year. Ben Johnson will scheme him open and Goff will find him. Sure he splits carries with Montgomery, but Gibbs was left in to finish out drives plenty last year. His upside should be way higher. The majority of their games in domes, going for it on 4th down, and the best O-line in the league. If you’re in a fantasy league and people are dumb enough to rank Gibbs as RB7 and you get him that late, you’re probably going to win your league.

The Fantasy Football show #Smitty is by far a better podcast to watch than this. Everyone knows the top players in fantasy and this all they talk about. Not one true sleeper that you plug into your second or 3rd flex… always guys in the top 3-4 rounds are the guys these guys in ESPN talk about. I’d do more on that ESPN podcast for free vs what they get to do this
