THAT is how you make an instructional video. Edit, no over explaining, right to the point. Bravo

WOW who would have thought that you could bend an L joint and it would make a difference? Thanks for the video - I don't own a lawn mower but was going through all your videos and watched it anyway. It is so good to watch someone do something when they KNOW what they are doing.

Watched several other videos before this but they didn’t fix the issue. This vid showed how to remove and clean the gas jet control which was the main cause for not starting.

I’ve twice had to take apart my carburetor to get my running again. I have the same exact model. I do like the idea of adding a fuel filter to the gas line. I’m going to have to do the to my fuel line. What size are the fuel line clamps?m
@FieldGuidetoDIY Жыл бұрын
I believe that was 1/4” to 1/2”.

Any idea where I can get a air filter cover for this style of mower?I purchased one off market place & it was misssing.Also won’t start so imma flow your video here and see.Thanks

I'm not exactly sure. Would this work with your model? It fits most Briggs & Stratton engines used on Troy Bilt mowers. - geni.us/DbjD2vA As an Amazon Influencer, I earn from qualifying purchases. I also on occasion get products sent for me to review and demonstrate.

Thank you so much for this. God willing I was able to follow your instructions! I didn't do the modification like you performed at the end, as I do not have the parts yet. Thankfully everything seems to be running way better after I cleaned the carburetor out with compressed air. Again, THANK YOU!!!!

Travis, if I remember correctly, they’re either 8mm or 10mm. Let me know if that helps.

You should have put the 2 o rings in the carb then install the carb.
@FieldGuidetoDIY2 жыл бұрын
Why is that Mike?
@michaelgonzales76552 жыл бұрын
@@FieldGuidetoDIY because when you install the carb your not really sure if the o rings will seat in the carb as they should.

Air filter, spark plug .35 gap. Non oxy gas will start great.

John, thanks for the tip. It's running so good now that I didn't even re-gap the spark plug. Thanks again and thanks so much for watching.

Wrong put the o ring on the carb and the plastic retainer over it then install it on to the engine.

@FieldGuidetoDIY Perfect timing! What do you do with bad gas/oil? My neighbor said to pour it in the yard and my fist stopped about 4 inches from his face.

Tried this over and over and still starts and stops immediately. Got something wrong :(

You may need to clean the carburetor. Ours was clean but they sometimes need to be cleaned, rebuilt, or replaced. Let me know. It sounds like it is getting just enough gas to start. Keep me posted.
