Great video Mr Ripken. I don’t know how things are where you all are, but here in the UK we are on lockdown and looking at a cancelled cricket season. What you teach is applicable to cricket as well. No glove of course and the angles are different, with the ball generally going back where it came from. You have inspired me to put something together for the students I coach. Thanks!

Do you have any drills for working on getting your arm in an infield arm slot?

Butt up out of the way, back flat, hands out front finger tips down loose wrist. You can't move with your butt down and when butt goes down your chest go up and your arms and hands are connected to your chest. So you can't keep your glove down with your butt down. Butt UP back flat hands out front!
