And the reason many people look different up north is because for hundreds of years some of the berber tribes of the rif mountains up north practiced endogamy until relatively recently, so they don't have as much arab or subsaharan admix, and Europeans had a very marginal effect on the gene pool, genetically speaking they are overwhelmingly north african in ancestry, berbers and Spaniards are both mediteranean people that look quite similar when there is no large admix involved. while people in the south like Marrakesh have a long history with being very famous and busy subsaharan slave markets so people there are more admixed with other African regions therefore look different

Les gens ressemble a des Amazigh car ils sont amazigh, NON espagnol. Je trouve que vous attribuez beaucoup trop de choses qui sont typiquement marocains , a l’espagne. Alors que le Maroc existe bien avant l’espagne…. Apprenez l’histoire du Maroc. Nous n’avons pas de sang espagnol. Je ne sais pas si vous pensez que les gens du nord sont des descendants d’espagnol mais si vous le pensez vous êtes complètement perdu et dans l’erreur. C’est les marocains qui ont influencé l’espagne! Pas l’inverse. Les marocains sont rester pendant des siècles en espagne… et les gens blanc que vous voyez sont des amazigh. Génétiquement amazigh!
