For starters I’m an Indian living in manila since 2018. Bumped into Bilal and Azaan halal cuisine way back in 2019 at Mercato BGC and since then it’s my go to place every weekend. From being just a customer we became good friends and we never looked back since then. Azaan halal cuisine is the best authentic Indian food at an affordable price in the whole of Manila, the Pakistani chef Bilal is a lovely guy, gold at heart….if you are in Manila, Philippines do try from the range of Biryanis he has to offer, trust me you are up for treat. First time I tried food at Azaan Halal in 2018 at BGC Mercato. The food was no nice haha I became friends with the owner and after that I have ordered food at home, went to their stalls in uptown, Eastwood, Salcedo, cubao, etc more than 100 times between 2021-2022. The most amazing Indian food in Philippines cooked by great Pakistani chef (always had “great discussion” with Bilal on the origin of the food) 🤪. I miss being in Salcedo on Saturdays. Alhamdulilah soon!

Unbelievable! I never thought that there are Moroccan and Pakistani eateries in the Philippines. I know there are Indian restaurants because Bombay people have been in the Philippines for decades already.And that’s the beauty in our country because you can experience different cuisines.Our country is a melting pot. I had the pleasure to work with Pakistanis in Houston, TX. They had their own Warehouse for Gas Station/Convenience Store Owners. I’ll tell you, they are proud of their culture and never greedy when it comes to Hospitality. They never let me pay when it comes to food.
