I have a C Crane Skywave SSB, can I monitor and jot down stations that I pick up on Field Day?

You could as a experiment to find out who you can hear. Most of it will be just a pileup up and down the band.

Wow! I might have to use a earbud to listen too bad I can't communicate with them. I'm in Greenwood SC and what time it starts in my area?

Good info here. I try to provide downloads of various radio info on my web site for this reason. #Elmer #ShareTheFun #FieldDay

With a week to go, I'm getting excited. And I'm only a Class D. I like hearing the bands so busy. When I was able to operate and lead Class A, I'd arrive at the site in the morning and announce, 'I love the smell of generator exhaust in the morning. It smells like Field Day.' Hope to work you next weekend. N8CPA 1D OH.

N1MM (n1mmwp.hamdocs.com/) I believe the basic version is free. However, for $60 you can get all of N3FJP programs for life. General contact log, Field Day Log, and almost all other contest logs. I got the package and have enjoyed it. www.n3fjp.com/purchasepackage.html. Best of luck getting your ticket look to hamstudy.org for free study and practice system.
