Around 1:00 you can see the smile on Keefe's face as he looks over the oil-covered engine. He obviously loves a challenge! It's just one of those things that a guy like him enjoys being able to diagnose and fix! There's a feeling of satisfaction to being able to bring things back to life when they're not working right! And if anyone kan do it, Keefe kan!

Back when we had a basket picker we made those slat out of oak cabinet trim. we had gotten the ones from deere and made a pattern. John Deere is over priced on a lot of there stuff. Good video. Enjoy watching.

We bought the plastic rails instead of the oak rails and also took links out and tightened up. I strongly suggest the plastic rails

@@FieldRows I apologize I was mistaken. Our picker (9986) had plastic ones that were worn out and tried to replace them with plastic again but unable to find any and had to buy the oak ones. We preferred the plastic. I'm sorry

My Grandfather was the manager of a plantation in S Ga. with a duck pond. A mule would back up to the pump for the warmth coming off the engine and got his tail caught in the drive shaft jerking his tail off.

They say, using compressed air everyday blowing the filter out, causes the paper in the filter to tear and rip causing more areas for dirt and trash to get sucked into the engine. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I would check for finger prints, that has Randy written all over it. He was probably trying to change the oil and left the plug out to get all the oil out like the tractor. Keep up the great content.

So I do wood working, I make handmade custom wooden signs and handmade wooden children's toys. What do this oak rails look like or a link to them.? It shouldn't be to hard to make some for replacing the bad ones? Sounds like JD is price gouging big time on lots of stuff. By the way, I enjoy watch your videos.

Yes, we use Murphy switch gauges on oil pressure, temp, and low coolant.

@joshchoate9499 Jim’s mom here. All I know is I’m 64 years old and there has always been boiled peanuts at harvest time Now you see the Peanut Patch ones in most convenient stores. I just wash mine good , cover them in water add salt and boil several hours.
