@@pipo441 It's a special set of functions or language that helps you retrieve values from a multi dimensional data or a cube. When you add your data to a "Data Model" when creating pivot tables, it enables the option to use MDX and sets in Excel.

why calculated fields and items option gets disabled when using sets. I guess fields and items does not work when our data is linked in data model. am I right..??
