Videos involving mathematician always bring me back to my undergraduate training in Mathematics. One of the best times of my life. Pity that I am not tenacious enough in my course and become a mathematician. Through these videos, I can live my forgotten dreams through the live of these amazing mathematician while I continue in my path. Escapism, yes. But, hey, it helps me to find solace in my current life course.

The cinematography, the background score, the narration was very poignant. The one thing that stood out was the calming voice of professor June. It soothed my anxiety. My worries about my career, and my personal life vanished as I watched this video till the end. His outlook towards life has inspired me to find beauty in the simplest things in life.

I really admire the fact that he being an ethnic Korean worked under the tutelage in the form of a good friend as well, of a Japanese maths professor who was also a fields medal recipient. All this despite ethnic tensions between Koreans and Japanese in the political realm. This is truly inspiring and more. :)
