Yeah the player is pretty much the god of war for whatever faction they play, so this whole thing is basically just giving me an excuse to grow a massive beard, wear a toga and battle helmet, and shout at people in the street.

Catugnatos stood still, staring far to the lands of the South while his men continued to pile up the bodies around him. For his loyals and the pict allies, an honorable burial awaited. Already, songs were begining to be made about their feats: Talorc, son of Aniel, who managed to break the roman wall of spears, even as for of them pierced his half-naked body. Drest, one of Catugnatos' best, who had led the surrounding of the roman flank, manageing to slay more than ten men before a luck blow shattered his skull. Galam, Cinioch...and the Pict king himself. They had all stood their ground alongside Catugnatos and his true Caledonians, while the roman chieftain ran to hide behind his mother's skirts. "He will come back" he said out loud to his bloodied guards. "After that defeat?" Taran, captain of his guard, scoffed "He will be lucky if his men don´t take his head for leaving his whole army to die on the field" Bridei spoke next. He carried the banner of the true Caledonians, now adorned with the grinning, pale skulls of two of Constantinus' officers "Should we march to the South now my liege?" It was tempting. His men were in high spirits after their win and, should he ask it, they would march day and night and climb the walls of the city with their bare hands. Maybe, they could even take it...but for how long? Catugnatos had lost half his men, while only 180 of the Picts were healthy enough to follow him. He would not be able to hold against the roman's new legions with so few under his command. Constantinus had dared to attack, without support or allies and now mountains of his head adorned the landscape. Catugnatos would not make that same mistake. Once more, patience was the true answer. "For now, we will rebuild our forces and give our friendship to the Pict's new king. More true caledonians will rally to our banner after this and we will learn much from the roman's weaknesses from the prisoners we have captured" Catugnatos smirked, staring once more to the lands in the South "We have time brothers, we have time..."

Devin,you are right about "I intend to wait for the expansions to come out, which will probably be at least another year or so.Then I can make one with all the races available for maximum variety." because 7 DLC current factions appear right now but Wood Elves is newly faction for TW Warhammer.I don't they still have more factions for DLC release.

I get angry, but my girlfriend tells me to calm down. We walk into the movie room. They're playing previews. We wait for it to come on. Then the movie plays. I see a lot of action. A zoomed out army clashes with another zoomed out army. A headset ad appears. I say that Devin would've given us closeups and NLP. She closes her eyes and takes a deep breath. Then Lionheartx11 says if the other guy wants a rematch. I say that Devin would've given a monologue. She tells me to stop. I say sorry. Then it shows another ad but for a gaming mouse this time. I say Devin would give us Spooky memes. She says that's it. She breaks up with me and leaves. I get mad. Very mad. Mari mad. I call for Sigvald the Magnificent. He flys through the screen. I tell him to beat up my ex girlfriend. He shoves popcorn in her bra and sticks a fistful of purple slime in there. She tries to kick Sigvald the Magnificent. But he kicks her. She flys into the wall. He says he's a colossal asshole. He shoves a dragon dildo up her skirt. I'm not sure which end it went through. She falls down. Then he jumps on her head. His thighs crush her skull. Her brain squirts out. We leave the theater holding hands. I give him a kiss on the cheek. I tell him bye. Then he flys into the sky. Nariko is love, Devin is life.

Great episode! A couple of things though: You can levy troops from puppet states (though I suppose Constantinus would be averse to that), and it might be a good idea to ransom troops after a garrison's won a battle, as they don't have integrity to lose (you probably know both of these already, but whatever).

I'm really enjoying the conflict developing Constantinus and Tullus. I get the feeling that Tullus is going to become the Belisarius to Constantinus' Justinian. He becomes so great, and the moment he disobeys an order from the "emperor" is the moment that Constantinus realizes just how much of a threat Tullus is to his regime. Constantinus comes off as very charismatic, and his preying upon the hatred for empire that the locals have was an intelligent move. However, with all the misery that has brought since then (misery that would have come either way, and Britannia would have been abandoned, but they don't know that) will surely start to crack Constantinus' picture in the public eye. I can imagine the people will eventually clamor for who will soon become Constantinus' master of horse in terms of sheer reputation, and the would-be true emperor of Rome will need to address him.

It's the new order of Rome falling and being replaced by the old - the christian empire is falling but being replaced by something modeled after the older pagan one.

Devin, when an army attacks you on the world map from the north, it will enter the battlemap from the north... you can always know where your enemy is coming from... (just because you were worried, the supporting army could enter the battlemap behind you)

(Constantinus is no Zenon. And his son is an arrogant prat who has been given a wife who has accomplished more than he ever has. Today I got to see some action, my men were sent to hunt down and destroy a group of some rogue Caledonian hiding off the cost, hopefully, this task will be enough to relieve. I should not be surprised that Constantinus gave me this miserable post and gave that army post to that waste of life Gnaeus. Clever strategy, give everyone who could challenge him bad out of the way post and give all the good ones to fools and yes men leaving Constantinus free to do whatever he wants just like the Emperors of old. Constantinus loves to talk about how great the "glory days of Rome." He forgets, of course, about all the foolishness and corruption that happened back then and that we the future generation are now paying for of their bad decisions. I also I heard from my informants from Segontium tell me that Tullus has crushed Ebdanians again, their stubbornness would be respectable if it didn't waste so much life. Unsurprisingly Constantinus has taken all of the credit and Tullus failed to object, he has always been too humble for his own good.
