Thanks for the show. David, a man of his word, goes for the man bun which makes Cai's shorts of last week look respectable. Cheeky top knot next week, David? Nice! As for gulls and the coastal count, as Ben's report shows, yup numbers may be down on the coast because the gulls are elsewhere. What is it with some organisations? If you only count every second animal of the genus, of course numbers are down.

Great show as always.the carp story in the news was interesting re catch and release rules in the UK. Here in Victoria Australia you can be fined a max penalty of $14,085 for returning carp to the water as the are a noxious pest here.

I am a farmer from Orkney. I have given permission for snh to trap on my land. They only check the traps every 3 weeks routinely.
