I think the doe with the deformed hoof had foot-rot. A bacterial infection that some individuals are susceptible to. It is also common in sheep. It is an hereditary condition so he did very well to shoot that doe. I think you will find a lot more like her in that herd.

Hi there Charlie, Thanks for great uploads for this week, we do the cull in our tribal land of thousand of hectares of land to keep the number in control. Best regards from NZ hunters.

Cheers Tony - love your films. Amazing how different your fallow cull is to ours. / Charlie

Why are these fallow of such a dark color? Is that just the British genetics?

Yes - we get lots of variety here. / Charlie

wouldn't it be better for the local community to get 20-30 recreational hunters to take a deer each, instead of wealthy estate owners just hiring 3-4 guys to shoot them for the meat market? no wonder hunting in general is going backwards in UK, you are relying on fewer and fewer people to harvest your game animals. Use the North American model, it works much better.

@Solar Solar dedicate 1 weekend for 2 guys to come on, that easy, we have similar laws in NZ around private land hunting, and we work our way around it, so can you

They are not protesting against gun ownership, poor gun controls assault rifles and such, report the facts not fantasy.

applejack120 sorry but you are completely wrong there. There's already legislation in place to deal with this problem but the authorities failed in their duties to protect them. The legislation that they are asking for will do more harm than good.

Great episode guys. The behind the scenes look at the cull and the management aspect was interesting. Brilliant park they have their and who knew Coco loved a fox hunt, the mind boggles. lol. Cheers Moose.

Very good show old chap! It looked like David, the much maligned news presenter and amateur camera man, was presenting the news from NZ or Australia? The vegetation behind him looked very down-under-ish.

That first shot was abit of a bad one loads of heads behind it
@tylerglance11366 жыл бұрын
Reece Wright not sure which shot you are talking about but the first one I saw had no heads behind it, it was off to the left where the heard was thined out
@medicatedflowers8216 жыл бұрын
Tyler Glance Mabey I'm wrong just looked abit unsafe tbh talking about bullet fragments surly shooting in a heard full stop is bad as fragments can go anywhere not just behind the animal I know they need to be managed but better ways to go about it
@tylerglance11366 жыл бұрын
Reece Wright I can see where you are coming from also I think I saw the shot you were talking about and I completely agree
