Brilliant vlog Steve, Kathryn, Zak and little Boo. So nice you showing your respects to the fallen in WW2. My uncle was a prisoner of war and lucky enough lived to tell the tale. Unfortunately he passed about 10years ago with throat cancer. See you on the next vlog you lovely people. ❤

I think you'd like The Commonwealth War Graves Commission, just outside Arras in France. We went there a couple of years ago and it was absolutely amazing, so very informative and equally moving. The young lad that took us around was full of information and passionate about his job. All free. It’s where they make the headstones for all the war graves, they even tell you about how the War Graves are looked after and the history behind the Commission, definitely a must for anyone and Zak would enjoy the history.

Great video. I went to a war cemetery in Crete & found it extremely moving. No matter where they are they are always so beautifully kept. The dome in that little chapel was stunning - very pretty little town.

Any war cemetery is very affecting, all those lives, will we never learn. A request, could you say what day and time you are walking about as it adds perspective, maybe start and finish e.g. is it aways that quite? Very good vid, Germany is interesting given the history etc.

My grandfather was part of the East Lancashire Regiment in world war one and fought with the Australian and New Zealand troops in Gallipoli and the Dardanelles peninsula of Turkey and has also did Egypt and France lost his best friend in Turkey got invalided out from being gassed 😞😮‍💨
