FIESTA ST PIANO BLACK CENTRE CONSOLE!

Thanks Adam comprehensive description. Removal of large centre trim part around dials the most difficult part; the piece you changed to piano black. Your video is the only one on KZbin which shows in any detail the removal. Had to pull and pry so hard thought it would brake but it finally gave! Rest of parts easily removed. I used your video to guide me as to how to access handbrake adjustment bolt. Bolt so loose could turn by hand. Tightened the placed a second 10mm blot on top to prevent it coming loose again.

right so I've got a 2009 Ford Fiesta Zetec S, 1.6 Diesel MK 7 and I'm just wondering if that piano black MK 7.5 center console you have fitted will fit in mine. I have the default grey boring interior and want to upgrade it to the newer look. Already done the gear stick and air vents so just want some advice mate thanks.

It would probably fit but the holes for bits might be different - if you can compare and confirm the controls/buttons/knobs to be in the same configuration then you should be good

Fella. Quick question for you. How easy is it to remove the centre console. Ive dropped a ring down that silly handbrake hole. I removed the 2 rear screws to get some leverage. But think i need to life the whole thing off. Cheers!

Hi Stuart, I've never removed the whole thing but if you remove the gear knob, gaiter and black plastic like i do in this vid and then remove all the screws you find, I think it just comes apart

Just pry the centre console from the rear at the join. Rear part of centre console can be removed in one piece can then access bottom of handbrake and retrieve your ring or bits. Fiesta 1.0 Ecoboost Zetec.

Adam Rainey it's a Bitchin Carbon fiber shift knob with a the 6 speed pattern and a Red ST logo on it, it has the Factory lock out, so it go's right on, I wish I could send you a picture of it, it's so cool looking.

It's different and for LHD's is not very easy to find in used market

Do you have any car breakers near you? I went to a place called car transplants not far from me, and I got that centre trim piece, airbag light trim, the part underneath the gear knob and both the door handle trim pieces all for £30 taken from a 16 plate fiesta, all in perfect condition. I hardly ever buy anything from Ford etc, you pay through the nose for it

There’s too alan keys at the bottom of the center thing at the back take them off and you can lift it up and fit your hand underneath and get everything you dropped

There was a delay getting the centre console part for me. Give them a shout and they will tell you what the delay is

Lol it's annoying I know but it will show up eventually. Keep asking them every couple of days for an update. At the time it wasn't so bad for me as I had a few things on order and they sent them in separate packages so I could still get on with some things
