shocking that you had to go back so many times, and it must be infuriating when you have done half the job for them diagnosing the issue! glad its sorted the car looks spot on

I used to work for a well known car dealer, my job was to prep used cars for sale . This dealer like most offered a 6 month warranty . The policy was to inspect the car and note Down any faults. A salesman would then tell me what to repair or renew based purely on one fact , would the part or fault last the 6 month warranty period . Then if the car failed 7months plus in we would then repair the car at the customers expense ! Win win ! Totally wrong but true 😏

That really doesn't surprise me, its a cut throat game with small profit margins. I should've known better than going to a main dealer 😂😂

1. There will enever be enough detailing videos on the Internet!! Love that. Snowfoaming has got to be the ultimate satisfaction. That colour looks incredible with all the tlc it got. 2. Seems like you dealt with the dealer stress well. Don't ponder on it, the world is full of morons and no one cares about anything anymore. Good on ya for having your wits about you. It's just sad to think how many times things like that go on unsolved... and then customers end up forking out more money. Let's focus on the positive. What a cracking daily to have!

Thank you! I was so gutted when I didn’t have enough storage to create a full detailing video but maybe that’s one to add on the list now! I’m just glad that situation is resolved now, that’s for the positivity 😁😁

Hi Mitch, am I seeing a wee bit of OCD there lol 😂 you really done an amazing job on the paintwork, just like i used to do at your age, oh btw I’m a Ford trained spray painter by trade. MK1, MK2 escorts, Ford rally cars of Adrian Boyd, and every other ford of the 70s and early 80s. Anything that costs money to dealers is a non starter, unless you preserve, like wot u dun lol , Anyoldwho, niiiiiiice video Mitch. 😎👍👍👍🇬🇧

Tbf i went looking for a nearly new zetec s 125, they pushed and pushed to try n make me buy the nearly new st they had on the huge ford forecourt,, stating the car i wanted was not available in the whole network...the sales people where trying all the tricks, pushing me to test drive.. i said I'd go away and think about it, went home scoured the web, found the exact car I wanted right colour, where? Vauxhall dealer, literally on the other side of the road to the ford one i had been to, turned out it was sold via ford, 3 years and the lady wanted to trade it in, the guy she bought it from at ford, had been poached to vauxhall,,, she liked him so much she got an astra... i got the fiesta, ive had it a few now and prob be outing it early next year as i dont really use it and want a old skool ford now!

Smashed that Mitch, car looks banging after the graft you put in. Are those detailing/washing brushes good? Maybe I need to purchase some of those products you have. I love those Fiestas and the little mods can be the nicest ones that make a big difference to you especially. Jheez man im sorry to hear that Ford treated you like that, I had a similar experience with a bike from Toys 'R' Us when I was a kid and after bringing it back 100 times I just took a refund 🤣. Glad you got it all sorted in the end, it does make you wonder about the denial of the people in that branch 🤣 go from saying the car is sweet to changing about 8 things. Time to enjoy it now! Good luck 👍🏽

Detailing brushes came from carbon collective, they’re so useful! They’ll do anything to get away with not changing a part, just wanted to show people that you will get there in the end, just need a bit of persistence!

I enjoyed your video and just subscribed I have found problems myself with trust Ford garages and won't be using them again .I own a 2016 model st and wonder if the petrol flap is suppose to lock because mine is still accessible with the car locked is this normal ??
@Mk2Mitch3 жыл бұрын
Hi mate, thank you for subscribing! The caps don’t lock, they supposedly have a anti theft catch as part of the filler neck so I wouldn’t worry too much. My previous eco boost was also the same :)

Thanks so much for getting back to me.i love these fiesta st but when a Mercedes with 450 break inialates me off the traffic lights I feel torn apart so maybe buying a hybrid I can put up a fight.
