Better player faces is debatable. Graphics look a bit iffy. Lighting looks bad. Mechanics with shooting passing running is better on fifa. Pes may be better at a few things and fifa may be better at others but pes does look pretty shit compared to fifa which is why fifa are pretty far ahead compared to pes who are dropping lately

I've played Fifa and PES both for 6 years or so. Honestly PES was better at earlier games. FIFA has brand new mechanism now and it is far better than its predecessors. PES feels more realistic coz in FIFA, it is way too easy to play, the game does almost all the thinking for you, passes are like predetermined and almost every play is like a top 10 play of the week. If you cross in FIFA, the players will have speedburst or amazing a slow cross will go like a rocket after a header as if like a Cantona shot. Fifa has to work on mechanisms and animations. Almost every player has a 26 inch waist like a supermodel n stuff, every player has an over the top physique. PES needs to get licenses for real. At least get licenses for Premier League and La Liga. Both these licenses will help greatly. Also have someone work on fake kits as well. Looks like 80 year old guy is designing kits for non-licensed kits on his death bed.. But PES has its own following. Genuine football fans or those who follow football closely will prefer PES. FIFA is great for starters, PES is for big boys!!

Absolute bullshit. Playing FIFA is for adhd PACE simulator children. PES is for people who want to get better the longer they play, not a free for all that takes 10 minutes to learn the boring patterns of. Shove your 'but it's got real kits!', I grew out of that rubbish argument when i was 9. I'm old enough to know when ISS/PES was unquestionably the best, FIFA was a laughing stock. Changed after PES6. FIFA was better. They've been lazy and the games have got predictable, boring and less polished. At least you can enjoy your officially licensed premier league kits though. Took me 10 minutes to patch PES to be exactly the same.

Haha well that's true. I think PES and FIFA have a time and a place. For a real in-depth serious gamer session, PES. Old-school mates who play loads round your house. PES. For a crowd of randoms of mixed ability FIFA. For a fun hour, FIFA. For seeing accurate face maps and simulating a season, FIFA (especially with stadiums, cannot wait to play mighty Villa Park!). Agree on season mode for PES too, often rubbish. Nothing matches two serious PES players in a 1 vs 1, there's just so many tiny things you can do. FIFA kids get scared off because PES is TOUGH. Less skill gets raped. A FIFA player cannot match a PES player on PES without hundreds of hours of playing. A PES player can easily step down, choose some pace and quickly have a decent match on FIFA. Depends on the audience.

I think the fact that nobody in this comments section can agree on anything, for example the graphics or the gameplay, is that these two games must be equal in their own rights. If one game had better graphics then we would all be able to tell immediately, and honestly from an unbiased person I would have to say that in both games some players faces look amazing, and some player's faces look like shit. For example, what I have seen in these videos is that Neymar looks absolutely beautiful in pes, but then you see a player like sturridge who looks absolutely stunning in FIFA. Something I have also noticed about FIFA is that due to their lighting, the darker faced players seem to look like they have much better faces, while the lighter colored people look disgustingly pasty and un-detailed. Also, I have noticed that the details in the jerseys dont look very good at all in pes, there are no lines or stitching or seams, it looks as if the jersey is just a sheet of rubber or plastic. Just wondering if people agree or if people think I sound like an idiot. I guess we will find out, in this brutally honest place we call the internet.

I love both games but for me pes wins on Fifa you play matches and buy players mainly. Whereas in pes you do that but you can also: create stadiums, change kit styles ( I change Liverpool back to the 1984 kit) and the main two UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League licencing.
