The worst part is that guys like dybala can hold off a boateng without a problem. This feature is pretty OP currently. I haven't found anything to defend it yet.

love this Ovvy, not gna lie, I Hate the L2 button on 17 atm, I think it kills face up dribbling now, the key is don't try to turn while holding L2 because it's also "pace control" and it's so slow.

I think it's good still, I used the drag back alot now! But in 16 you could drag backwards into the defender, it does not seem to work in 17?

I absolutely agree with you. I can't get rid of keeping hold the LT button like in Fifa 16. And every time I press it while player is on the sprint, he makes a stupid awkward turn and eventually looses the ball. I hate it. Is there any way to turn this move off?

Nice video...and one I have been waiting for. That explains why I have not had much success with this new system(but get dominated by CPU using it). I instinctively move towards the opponent, which you should, and try to apply pressure to them. But seems, going by this video, that you can't really do that. Ovvy, are you going to do another video on how best to negate this move when the opponent does it?

Nice video Ovy! The shielding feature is pretty cool but I'm really struggling with the timing of the skill moves now. I always used the L2 button to control the pace and perform the skill move. But since the function of the L2 button has changed now I can't control the pace how i want to. Most of the time my player uses his skill move a split second to late. So what is the best way the perform skill moves now? currently i'm just stop sprinting before using one.

Hi Ovvy 2 problems.. 1) I am not getting better at skill moves because when I am running towards goal i am pressing RT button so player runs quickly and when i move my right analog joystick balls moves away 2) When I am running towards opposite goal, i do not have my teammates with me so can't pass the ball

I currently hate FIFA 17's gameplay, attacking it sluggish and slow unless it's a counter attack. It's made it so boring, no variety in attacking anymore, just counter attacks. I honestly preferred FIFA 15 to this, there was so much attacking variety and defending was easier. Now EA fucked up defending so as a counter to this they also fucked up attacking. It's like shooting yourself in one foot, realising your mistake, then solving it by shooting the other one. Surprised so little people talking about the poor gameplay mechanics this year, honestly think it's the worst it has ever been
