I've watched a few tutorials now and none of them really help. I'll aim/power a free kick the exact same way with two attempts. One will either go 10 yards over, another will be a dribbler of a shot into the keeper's hands (even though I was aiming nowhere near there) and the other (5% of the time) will go into the top corner. Why? It's so frustrating having a free kick from 25 yards out knowing that I'm most likely going to either shoot it miles over or it'll go nowhere near where I'm aiming for no reason. Fuck Fifa this year

can someone explain to me how you're supposed to level free kicks on a pro player career? Start with 50-55 free kicks so you never take them(even loaned myself to bloody grimsby town and i still don't take them ether) and trying to improve them in the training sessions does next to nothing because there so inconsistent and inaccurate that you can't get a good enough medal to make a meaningful difference. Had this same issue pretty much since pro player career has been a thing and they still haven't fixed it :/

Ive been playing on control all and ive been shielding the ball outside the box until the AI lunges in and gives away a free kick and i give it to my pro and even though my players fk accuracy is shit i keep trying. Struggling, still!! Curved free kicks: 1.5 bars 45 degree, right footed player from right. Pogba: The balls flies away. What am I doing wrong? Fifa 18 free kicks skills mode didn't help either. The best place to practice FKs was the arena (custom free kicks) on Fifa 16, which is not supported in Fifa 17 as well as 18. I noticed that many opponents struggle too on D2/1 online seasons, so I'm not alone struggling with these bloody free kicks. The ball either goes too high or right into the keeper. It's frustrating when I've watched this tutorial and many others and still can't get it right!

I think now this is 50% abillity and 50% luck, because im very good in free kick and i have failed almost 60% of them. I think EA wanted to make a more real game as real soccer where the players fails around 80-90% of the chances.

It's not as easy as it is portrayed on tutorials. I play in D1 now and I can't remember the last time I conceded a goal played from a free kick. It just goes to show that there is no pattern to these free kicks. I'd like to hear other people's experiences.

Panakas86 - Rock Rebels I've just been having a play with my pro with 64 free kick and about 80 curl in the training holding driven free kick at about 1.5 bar gets it over the wall at a nice height. Got a B rating on hard free kicks Problem is it only works for closer range free kicks. Also don't add spin to the kick. It will act wildly sometimes and the but it's perseverance. Hope it helps
