Belenenses are bankrupt. Got thrown out of the own stadium (Restelo) to play the homes games in the national stadium nearby in Lisbon called Jamor. I think they have a period of time to balance their books again bcz they are in the 1a Liga but they haven't been this unstable for a long time. It was a bit of a surprise to me as well and more facts will become public in the next few weeks. The newspapers almost ignored it bcz of the Sporting CP situation that's going on still and the wc. I think they'll have to eventually be disolved tho

It is 100% in terms of the football they play and pressing. Tbh it has been since FIFA 15. I have tried to search for some time why this is the case but I can’t explain it...😒 I was going to do adjusted slider on world class but as I can not explain why it is better I figured I would get a lot of... ‘Dude don’t lie your just s**t and can’t play on legendary....’ But I can confirm this but even on PC i can’t see ai behaviour to explain why 😭

I’m wondering if the AI mentality shifted in the PSGvsJUV game, seemed they were in attacking at least to begin with but when you got back into it I could imagine it was ultra defensive. Not sure why the AI would make that choice but maybe the game thinks it can sit on a two goal lead?

Iv always played world class, I find it a little easy when I use teams like Real Madrid but challenging enough when I do my padderborn career mode

Try PES 18 I prefer it over FIFA. The AI is way better on PES and makes you feel again and not just win constantly. It's easy to get the licenses too, only bad thing is I don't think they have football league 1 or league 2.

i played legendary everton vs united and lossed 3-0 on world class i played everton vs united and drew 2-2 with united. legendary for me is much much harder.

LettucePlate Yeah, ever since '16, the gameplay is just as clunky and slower when you're in a difficulty where you could score as X amount of goals. As long as the AI screw up.

Cutzy when you are playing Fifa do you allow your opposition to have the ball for a bit and then make a tackle or intercept a pass or do you try to press and try to get the ball back quickly because that is what I do and when that happens on world class there is a lot of gaps in their defence and so I am able to score lots of goals. Also my comparison between Legendary and world class was that I did play two matches between Yeovil town and Cambridge United and I was Yeovil town, in my legendary match I had 16 shots, 10 on target, 5 goals and 57% possession and the opposition had 6 shots, 2 on target, 0 goals and 43% possession but also they hit the crossbar twice so you could say they had 4 shots on target. In my world class game I won by the same score line of 5-0, I had 12 shots, 6 on target and 53% possession. The opposition had 6 shots, 3 on target and had 47% possession but all their shots on target were just very weak headers which any would save easily so I think on legendary the AI shot accuracy is better but attack a lot less but I realise that on world class when attacked more I just went on defensive and counter attacked there was so much gaps in the AI defence and I had more chances to score more goals than on legendary. But I need to try more games between legendary and world class to see which one is more difficult but at the moment it seems like legendary is just a little bit more difficult for me probably because of how I play.

If I'm gonna be completely honest I've stopped playing world class, it was just too hard (I know, I'm not any good) It was 0-0's all over the board, and 1-1's, and the occasional 1-0 here and there. Now, I've bumped it up to legendary and get 6-0 wins... 🙈🍻

I’d have to agree with this but on a different level when I play legendary most games I play are 0-0 or 1-0 while on wc I’ll score more but concede a lot more.

I’m on OS sliders and some non assisted controls. Legendary games are away games & World Class are home. As a team battling relegation, Away games weren’t winnable. The AI gave you much less time and space on the ball. On world class running around someone on the ball is a lot easier, especially with not very physical players. It could be way I just play, or perhaps adjusting a few sliders fixes the difficulties.

Weekzey sounds interesting. Woukd you say World Class looks more realistic at all? I've been using OS sliders since FIFA 14 and this year legendary was a joke. I can win games with ease (the odd random one here and there will be a challenge) but the gameplay itself is unenjoyable - the game is just kick and rush, the AI presses unrealistically, strikers constantly pull off nonsense tackles and interceptions, outmuscling far stronger players etc. At the same time I'll win every career mode season unless I sim a bunch of games. It got so bad I beat Hanover 11-1 with a rotation Schalke side on legendary with the OS sliders earlier this year, with just 10 min halves... My main complaints are dribbling feeling awfully sluggish and next to impossible to beat a man with on slow game speed, whereas on normal certain things feel better but tackling/interceptions are more sluggish and of course the game moves too fast. Lowering run speed just messes with the game animations and you end up skidding on ice apparently 🌝 I just want realism lmao

I wouldn't say for me either mode looks more realistic than the other. I notice differences but I don't get games where the AI has 1 shot and scores it. Most games I lose, I lost fair and square with them being the better team.

Weekzey sounds good. I want more of a challenge. Actually I just started a Juve career for funzies to play alongside my Leverkusen career and it's felt harder than most that I've played this year for some reason. It just feels like an artificial challenge - not a real, enjoyable one, for the reasons I mentioned above like BS stat tweaking and strikers with Kante defending or midgets out jumping Mandzukic lol. I want to do another League Two career and not make it to the Prem in three seasons, but while enjoying it because it makes sense ffs 😂 Edit: just played a couple of games on World Class (I kept the OS sliders in place) and something about it definitely feels better. The AI seems to be more attack minded - or, at least, more effective when they do break away, depending on their tactic - yet there's less BS so it seems a more fun experience. I conceded two goals for the first time in months (in game) against Sassuolo but my attackers and specifically my good dribblers and goal threats felt more effective if I played well and I scored four, coming from 2-2 in the last ten minutes. Dribbling around people actually looked more realistic, rather than some RW making a ridiculous tackle while facing the wrong way everytime I tried to play out from the back while retaining possession. It seemed like sharp turns and wrong footing unagile defenders was better too, and fast players could actually get the drop on slower defenders despite my 45 sprint speed slider against their 48. The next game was harder against Fiorentina away - possession was closer and they had way more attacks and successful tackles - and the 3-1 scoreline was flattering; they played very well and it was a good challenge, but my keeper and defence made some great saves and tackles respectively. I'm about to play Lazio in the Coppa Nazionale semi-final... I wonder if it'll be a tough challenge. Results look good so far 👍

I just recently got good enough to play at those difficulty levels. As I went through the different levels quite recently (on career mode rtg style with bad teams to start with), started playing with fifa16, starting on world class then legendary on fifa18. World Class was strangely boring to play, and even if the difficulty jump from professionnal to world class was the hardest one for me, it just felt frustrating but not really challenging. Even the jump to ultimate difficulty does not feel that big. Furthermore I believe it's very depending on your playstyle. Remember the sliders thing with SparringDK. He's playing longer passes to outplay the opponents, you're more into dribbling and short play. Point is that the AI may be more effective in the one mode or the other depending on that.
