Wrong comparison. Did you downgrade the graphics of the screens you show as "old gen" from Ultra to Medium? It looks terrible! :) I also have the PC version and it has nothing to do with the image here. It has very nice graphics. Ok, it lacks new generation pre-match animations and some color tones, no pre-match ceremonial lighting, but other than that, there's no big difference. Lower the graphics level, play with the hue a bit and make the colors pale... hello there > "old generation" lol

It’s a shame that for PC gamers Fifa 22 isn’t next gen. The old gen version doesn’t look bad but the next gen version does look better tbh. Would love to play Fifa 22 on Xbox Series X this year, but I may have to settle for the Xbox One version again this year as the Xbox Series X is still very expensive and still kinda hard to find, but I’ll enjoy Fifa 22 no matter what I play it on. You’re only missing out on the hyper motion technology, a few extra cut scenes, the child mascots, the hair strands and a few new animations on the next gen version tbh, if EA starts adding exclusive modes to next gen, then that maybe where I make the switch. 👍🏻

Apparently they can't optimize the game well enough for pc, so they do not want to lose a part of their player base on PC due to them not being able to run the game. Although, if that's the reason, I do not see why they couldn't include both the versions for you to pick the one to install/play, like they did with the next gen consoles. Either that or drop the price for the old gen, since it doesn't seem fair to pay the same price for the old gen version. I'm pretty sure they just didn't bother including next gen on PC, because there are not a lot of players playing on it, hence less money. Wouldn't be surprised if FIFA 23 ends up being old gen on PC. I now see that the ps5 is more better than the ps4 because the pitch is so way better and 100% real with it's perfect green colour while it's only 90% original on the ps4 but fifa17 was better on ps4 almost like the ps5..
