Fifa 23 - 2000/2001 season mod

25 teams from the season 2000/01. Classic players are of the age they were in the year 2000. All teams have coach names from that period, and some of them have real faces. There are two mod files, one for the player faces, the other for the retro kits.

Hey man! Just bought it and beside the links say "00-01", they are actually "01-02" mods. I've imported in Mod Manager and it shows 0102. I've run the game to confirm and it's really 0102. Can you check it please? I already had 0102 mod, just wanted the 00-01 one.

​@@FutMovie9 You are right, the mod has been overwritten with the 01-02 version, I just checked and it's like that in all of my sources, which means that 00-01 mod is lost. Sorry for that, I have triggered the refund so you will get your money back.

@@FutMovie9 Thank you for pointing the problem out to me. And sorry but I am working currently on FC24 2008-2009 mod, and maybe I will try to recreate 2000-2001 mod for Fifa 23 after that. So I don't have time for other projects.

After FIFA23 Title Update #14 some of the faces in the mod have been broken so they had to be remapped. For anyone who bought the mod, you should download new version of the mod and new squad file from the same links that you got.

Hi Nik. This means that mod is not really applied to the game. When you apply some mods with Fifa Mod Manager, it creates FIFAModData folder in your Fifa folder, and tries to launch the game using the files from inside that folder. For some reason Fifa Mod Manager can not force Ea App to use files from newly created folder. So you need to change game launch properties to use the folder with mod data. In EA App, find FIFA 23 in your game library and click the "Manage" button, then "View Properties", and put "-dataPath FIFAModData" in the "Advanced launch options" input. After this, every time you launch the game it will use the moded data, even if you start game without Mod Manager. If you want to use some other mods, you will need to apply them and start them once with Fifa Mod Manager, so that FIFAModData folder would be updated. And if you want to play without mods you will need to remove option you added to game's Advanced launch options.

@@rhapsoad6539 hi rhapsoad, thank you for your reply, unfortunately, I already did that, even tried to launch the game from Origin did not fix my issue… please notice that only some of the players are female, others are correct (I think because the models are taken from the already existing in the game? E.g Shevchenko exists, but Inzaghi does not, using classic A.C Milan) also, kits are not applied

It still means that mods are not applied to the game. You are right, the faces that you see are from the original game, icons and heroes faces, and you can not see the faces and kits that I imported. Most of the faces I added are overriding female faces. I moved from origin to ea app 10 days ago and everything works fine, and I didn't have any trouble with origin. The last thing that comes to mind is that some time ago mod manager for Fifa 22 stopped working for me while Fifa was installed on hdd partition which was not system partition. So I had to reinstall the game and move it to the same hdd partition as the operating system. Since that change I didn't have any more trouble with mod manager, mods were always working.

Hope it will work for you. And yes, please do let me know if it helped. I plan to do mods season by season, so the next one is 2002-2003, and after that I will do 2003-2004. I am not sure how far will I get to before the new game, but I plan to do as many as I can.

That means that mods are not applied. Are you using origin or ea app?

@@rhapsoad6539 i think you Are right. Its my mod manager who is not working. I have tried more mods as well, its strange. I am using ea app. I have allso typed inn «-dataPath FifaMod». I dont know Why its not working. Do you have an idea Why its not working?

I am still using origin so I didn't have to try out this workaround for ea app yet. I saw that it didn't work for some people, and some of them were helped by running fifa mod manager as an administrator, so maybe you can try that.

When EA was publishing their updates every single week, in the process of updating the mods, 2000/2001 project was overwritten with the 2001/2002, so it is lost. And soon all mods will be removed from buymeacoffee because I will most likely move to patreon.
