Dose anybody know why it freezes I thought it was just my ps3 because the disc is brand new (I have the og ps3)

As much as I love the PS3, it's not a powerful console. This means that low FPS and stuttering may happen occasionally. I'd rebuild the database, replace that old HDD with a modern SSD, install Evilnat Cobra to control the fan speed, and put the PS3 vertically while playing in a well ventilated place. Good luck.
