4 years later, France 1998 was so much better. Matches like Argentina-England, Argentina-Netherlands, Brasil-Netherlands, Croatia-Germany or France-Italy were above the USA 1994 thrillers. And after all, the WC 1994 had to do with the death of Columbian defender Escobar after his own goal. I can’t make it up somehow to call it the best WC ever if that results in killing a sportsman.
