Basketball is my sport but I wear football is just something the Philippines needs and I say this for all countries because football is different than every sport even the ones I love more. Truth is it is the worlds sport and no other tournament has the passion or competition even over the Olympics. For me football is like the most humane war to go to war even if sometimes there are hooliganism and fights. It is something I hope the Philippines can really see. People say Pacquaio is biggest star of all time for the country but if the country even had a player at the levels of Harry Kane of England he would be way popular worldwide than Manny ever was. I. Really hope we can be lucky and get a superstar player. I feel like one or three homegrown players can make the team much better and at least make a run in the AFC cup within the next 10-20 years. Hopefully a miracle and WC comes soon enough. I wish Filipinos understood what the real best tournament and biggest achievement than any Pacquio fight or MiSs Universe really is.
