Lol why were Xavi and Messi even in that list? In 2008 Messi and Xavi weren't in that level which they reached in 2009. Barcelona in general were terrible that year : Liga BBVA table - Real Madrid 86 points Valencia 72 points Barcelona 66 points half of the squads of Chelsea and Man Utd in that year were better than Messi and Xavi.
