The Fox Sports coverage was nonstop concern trolling...thank goodness the final was broadcasted on Telemundo where the whole of the coverage centered on joyous celebration and even though my Spanish is not great I could hear people enjoy the game instead of worry about irrelevant stuff

Half of the players for this game didn't made a return for this year's World Cup, notably Steph Houghton, Ellen White, and Jill Scott. The last two got retired after Euro 2022's triumph. 2.USWNT fared disappointed in Olympics, losing to Sweden and Canada. They snatched a bronze medal after thrilling win vs the current World Cup host Australia. 3.England also defeated USWNT 2-1 on recent friendlies at Wembley, where the USWNT didn't fielded Alex Morgan. 4.Phil Neville and Jill Ellis both were raised in England. Later on, Neville got sacked this year with MLS and Lionel Messi's current club, Inter Miami, whose owners was Neville's compatriot in Class of '92 with Manchester United and England legend, David Beckham!

It was clear penalty - but you need to use Var to see it - she got clipped from behind and the moment she was trying to place her foot in to position to shoot - this is more significant foul that many of those that are being called these days - it was right decision imho. But it is hard to see.

The USWNT have to ask themselves why the gap is closing so rapidly given the enormous head start they have had. So many women form European nations have had to struggle to play professionally whilst they have had it made the entire time. At the 2019 WC they were the only fully professional team at the tournament

why the gap is closing so rapidly . Money. Religion. Acceptance. The people in positions of power in the football have finally accepted that women can play football . Football is a religion outside of the Usa. And they are finally putting money into the womens game. In the final of the WWC , the Usa was the only fully professional team there. Now, there are at least 8 , if not a dozen or more, who are fully pro. Thats a short explanation , its way more complicated than that, but it gives you a basic idea. Hope it helps :)
