You have to think. For the Tahitian player it's not about the result. Anyone could foresee that. You have to realize that none of those players play soccer for a living. Many have separate jobs such as plumber, carpenter, bricklayer. They just get a once in a lifetime opportunity to play against the worlds best team at the time and some really quality players.

+Sicarius47 maybe "offensive", but when your team represent a very little country with no many people, were the football is not the more popular (it's rugby in this region, and they give to France very good players by the way, even if France produce is own good players too), where you have not enough money, you can't live on only football. There is not enough business built around that sport. So like San Marino, Luxembourg, Samoa, Fiji, you probably have an other job at the opposite to live: one of the best attackers from Luxembourg is a teacher in elementary school!
